The “Yellow Emperor Mission” decided to go into the traditional villages to experience their profound culture and historical charm up close, and to see for themselves the way out and potential of these traditional villages under the overall trend of rural revitalization...

Xinmi Dawei Village

Go now. At the first stop, Yellow Emperor led the members of the “mission” to Dawei Village, Dawei Town, Xinmi City. We were roaming in the village, observing that a 1.5 kilometer long street, Dawei Street, runs through the village in an east-west direction, with the town government site as the center mirroring the thousand-year history of this traditional village.

Xinmi Chaohua Village

At the second stop, the “Yellow Emperor Mission” came to Chaohua Village in Xinmi City. Chaohua Village originated form the Han Dynasty and was named after the Chaohua Temple (divided into three temples: Upper, Middle and Lower), a Buddhist holy place and ancestral temple of the Pure Land in the region. According to experts, the word “Chaohua” has been used as a proper name for more than 1800 years and been borne up to now.

Dengfeng Yuanqiao Village

Going forward, the “Yellow Emperor Mission” went straight to Yuanqiao Village in Dengfeng City, an ancient village with historical, revolutionary and charity culture, which deserves to be called a traditional village museum. Among them, one thing that captures the greatest attention of the “Yellow Emperor Mission” is the literati and scholars it produced in the past.

Dengfeng Zhaidong Village

Eventually, the “Yellow Emperor Mission” came to Zhaodong Village in Dengfeng City. The village is also given the name of Tianxiong Stockaded Village, Xiaohong Stockaded Village and Fanlihua Stockaded Village， an ancient village built on the cliff side of an isolated mountain. There is an old saying that “the rooster crows in neighborhoods, and one foot is planted on three counties”.
