In 2014, National Electric Bus Electronic Control and Safety Engineering Technology Research Center settled in Yutong; At the same time, the first pure electric bus overall solution in China was officially unveiled, which was a pioneer in the industry.
In 2015, Yutong completely solved the problems of chips that had long plagued the development of the industry, and won the National Science and Technology Progress Award at one stroke.
For a short time, with international leading technical advantages, Yutong buses were quickly sold all over the world.At present, Yutong new energy products are exported to Australia, Chile, Denmark, France, the United Kingdom and other countries and regions.Especially in the developed countries of Western Europe and Northern Europe where the environmental protection requirements are extremely strict, Yutong has gradually been recognized and achieved batch sales of new energy buses in Norway, Iceland and other Northern European countries.

In the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar, 888 Yutong pure electric buses will show the made-in-China style, which is the top green competition after the 2018 World Cup in Russia locked Yutong buses again.
Up to now, more than 170,000 Yutong new energy buses have been promoted globally.
It is understood that Yutong invests 3%-5% of its operating income as scientific research funds, and sets up several innovative R&D platforms, such as "National Electric Bus Electronic control and safety Engineering Technology Research Center,Post-Doctoral Research Center, Bus Safety Control Technology Engineering Laboratory etc,.
